Organisation Description
“We educate future Master Craftsmen (Zimmerermeister and Schreinermeister) as well as State-Certified Technicians in Construction and Wood Technology. A German “State-Certified Technician” (Holztechniker or Bautechniker) combines advanced technical education with substantial practical experience. The qualification is often described as a bridge between a skilled craftsman and an engineer. Many technicians have previously completed an apprenticeship and several years of professional work before entering advanced technical studies. As a result, they combine practical craftsmanship, project management and technical planning skills.”
