  • The Erasmus experience of this centre Academia Paraninfo in collaboration with the Program Erasmus + Vocational Education and Training VET. Currently, Paraninfo Academy coordinates the internship experience in Madrid for school groups coming from Portugal through the Technological and Professional School SICO of Portugal. The students are received and transferred privately by a transfer hired by Paraninfo from the airport to their accommodation. The students are accommodated in the apartment managed by Paraninfo located in the center of Madrid, close to the academy, just a 10-minute walking distance. The day after their arrival, the students go to the Paraninfo Academy for a welcome session in which they are given a dossier with all the necessary documentation to complete the Erasmus+ VET program, maps of the city, transport card, etc. among other things. On the same day, each student is accompanied to their internship company to be introduced to the supervisor in charge, this accompaniment is carried out in order to familiarize the student with the route to the company as well as with the urban transport system of Madrid. In the third week of the internship, the SICO School tutor goes to Madrid to visit the internship companies in order to observe the good development of the internship. Paraninfo accompanies the tutor in each of the visits as part of the personalized monitoring that the school carries out. The day of return to their country of origin, Paraninfo organizes a farewell session at the Academy, in the meeting a review of the experience is carried out with each student in order to know the point of view of each one of them about the experiences with the internship company, the stay in Madrid and the assistance offered by Paraninfo, also a diploma of Paraninfo Academy is delivered. After the farewell session, the students are transferred privately to the airport. The internships completed by the students are:   - Vocational Training Course in Culinary and Pastry Service - Vocational Training Course in Management and Programming of Computer Systems - Vocational Training Course in Communication, Marketing, Public Relations and Publicity - Vocational Training Course in Management Technician - Vocational Training Course in Electronics, Automation and Command Technician Paraninfo Academy provides students with personalized assistance and support services, curricular internships in collaborating companies specialized in various sectors and with experience in receiving foreign students, the best accommodation, transfer service to and from the airport for those students who require it, as well as training and cultural activities organized by Paraninfo. Finally, Paraninfo offers the possibility of assisting to Spanish classes at the academy.
