  • The Erasmus experience of this centre As paAs part of the teaching, we organize trips to different countries to enable students to use English or German, which are taught at our school as foreign languages (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, France, England, Italy). As a gastronomy school, we also participate in the international project Sapori et Saperi in Italy. Ours has been cooperating since the 2007/2008 school year a school with a small family hotel in Caorle on the Italian coast, where students help and put their knowledge into practice. In 2008, 5 students took part in a four-month working stay in a hotel complex on the island of Kos Mitsis in Greece. One of our best students got an opportunity study and work in an educational center in France. In 2013, we participated in the Comenius project and established cooperation with a school in Lubeck, Germany. In 2015, we became coordinators of the Erasmus + KA2 project, which concerned fighting for women's rights and the right to education. We were members of the Healthy EU, Erasmus+ project. To date, we are members of three Erasmus+ projects - Better Life, Gastronomy, Languages, Art and Discovery, Cultural Heritage and Bridge from Past to Future. These projects end this year. As part of Erasmus, we got to know foreign schools and learned new pedagogical methods, pupils they got to know the local culture and made new friends. Organisation Description

  • Secondary school  Moravská střední škola ltd.,  is a legal entity registered in the school register on 1 January 2005. The school is located at  935 / 8a Pasteurova  , 772 00, Olomouc . From 18th 2006, the headmistress is  Mgr . et Bc Jaroslava Spurná .The total capacity of the school is 650 pupils .Our school  is the largest private high school in the region.Our school has 3 fields of study such as gastronomy, art and design and bussiness and trade areas as well. Our students come from different social strata. Our school is also attended by members of national minorities. Students can choose a three-year or four-year study that ends with a school-leaving examination.

 

  • Our school is a member of the UNESCO club CR since 2006 that allows school pupils to participate in  various projects. In June 2006, for the first time, selected pupils of the school visited Denmark as a part of the project about travelling and meeting new cultures . 3-day reciprocal meeting was held in Olomouc in 2006 and in  the spring of 2007 a workshop Easter Easter was organized by our school. With the project called Archpelago we visited  northern countries as Norway, Sweden and Germany as well other countries with other projects dedicated to getting know new countries, their customs and inhabitants. In autumn 2008, a group of school pupils got a chance to participate in a sports oriented stay in Germany as part of an international project for meeting young people. At the end of the school year 2010/2011 was another project aimed at young people and their problems in Europe again in Scandinavia.  In 2012 was held a youth exchange in Germany where our students also participated. Also we organize  trips to different countries to give chance to our students to use English or German taught at our school as foreign languages.( Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium,France, England,Italy.) As a gasronomicalschool wealso take part in an international project   Sapori et Saperi for cooks.

Since the school year 2007/2008 our school cooperates with a  small family-run hotel in Caorle at the Italian seaside where students help  and use their knowledge in practise.

In 2008, 5 students in the school participated in 4-month working stay in a hotel complex on the island of Kos Mitsis in Greece. In 2009 for the first time many pupils from Gastronomy field gained professional experience in hotels in the region  where the school won high awards, especially in comparison with other schools with a long tradition. One of our best student has gained an opportunity to study and work in a educational centre in France.

In 2013 the school applied for the granted  art project of an international partnership with a school from Lubeck, Germany. We succeeded and we have cooperated and visited each other since.

In 2015, we became coordinators of the Erasmus + project, which concerned the fight for women’s rights and the right to education. Than we was members of 4 Erasmus projects. also we have experiences with Ecvet.
