The Erasmus experience of this centre Founded in 2000, as a non-profit association, we have made it our mission to promote the professional and personal integration of young people and adults in training and work.
As an association of four educational and employment providers in the Central Hesse region, together with the cities of Marburg and Gießen as well as the Lahn-Dill district and the districts of Gießen and Limburg-Weilburg, we are currently active in nine districts of Hesse.
Together with our members, we offer our participants advanced training, advice and placement, activation and professional integration as well as coaching and socio-educational support. We are particularly committed to helping people who are unemployed or affected by unemployment and actively support the transition to the training and labor market.
Mittelhessischer Bildungsverband e.V. is experienced in Erasmus+ VET KA1 and KA2 projects.
We participate in KA1 VET exchanges since 2015 and organize and monitor internships abroad for the trainees in our region. Preparation also includes support with all relevant documents, travel arrangements, language preparation and intercultural training courses. We have good connections to the vocational schools and companies in Central Hesse and offer information sessions to classes and companies on a regular basis. We are fortunate to work with a lot of different organizations in Germany and throughout Europe and are part of the networks REIN and ARFIE.
We are also actively involved in KA2 projects and are experienced with the different procedures: from planning, to defining the roles and responsibilities of the project partners, preparations and meetings, arranging timetables, communication and logistics, and the promotion and dissemination of the project results.
