Organisation Description
The Max-Eyth-Schule is a vocational college in the German State of Lower Saxony. This district is a structurally backward region in West-Germany affected by a high unemployment rate and a considerate decline in population. The strongest branches of economy are agriculture, wind energy and the North Sea tourism. We offer courses in the fields of wood and metal technology, in horti- and agriculture, in domestic economy as well as in health and care. About 20% of our 700 students are weak and disadvantaged students or refugees. For other target groups we offer courses even with Abitur-certificates in fields like mechatronics, wind-energy, health and social pedagogy.
