  • The Erasmus experience of this centre The center has experience as a participant in other European projects of the Erasmus+ program: ALL-IN-EDU2020 (KA229). Project of the year 2018 in which we participated as a partner, in collaboration with the CEIP 9 d'Octubre of Alcasser (Valencia), the project's coordinating center, the Agrupamento Escolas Marinha Grande Poente of Portuga and the Instituto Comprehensive N.1 Govoni Ferrara of Italy. In this project, different activities were carried out within the framework of inclusion and good teaching practices. Educational inclusion and successful actions in a secondary school (KA101). Teacher mobility project of the year 2018 in which activities such as teacher training courses and observational learning were developed. Mens Sana in Corpore Sano: 2020 project in which activities were carried out to promote the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) of health and well-being. In addition, the center has been awarded an Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE charter) in the periods 2009-2013, 2014-2020 and 2021-2027, for the mobility of students and teachers of higher-level vocational training. This entire trajectory shows that our educational center has absolute involvement in promoting the European dimension and establishing a European network of centers.

Organisation Description

The IES Veles e Vents is a public Secondary Education Institute located in Grau de Gandia, a coastal tourist area south of Valencia. It is part of the network of multilingual centers in the Valencian Community. It opened in 2003 and was established as a learning community in 2014. It educates 1,102 students of 32 nationalities and offers Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO), Learning and Performance Improvement Program (PMAR), Baccalaureate, Initial Professional Qualification Program ( PCPI), Intermediate and Higher Level Vocational Training (FP) (CFGM and CFGS). In addition, there is a Specific Special Education Unit (UEEE), which provides a response to students with special educational needs.
