  • The Erasmus experience of this centre The school has been working and taking part in ERASMUS+ SCHOLAR projects with high schools in other European countries since 2020. These projects involve mobilities to those countries and interaction between students in English, both oral and written. The first project was carried out in collaboration with schools in Lithuania, Denmark, Greece and Turkey. The second project was carried out in collaboration with schools in Slovakia and Turkey. The center has also launched this school year an ERASMUS+ KA122-VET project aimed at students and teachers of CFGM and involving mobilities for internships in European companies and exchanges of experiences for teachers in European VET centers. The project is entitled “Overcoming borders: IES Miguel Hernández VET in Europe+”. The main objectives of this project are the following: Enhance and promote the VET cycles in our center. Promote a better coexistence and integration of students at risk of exclusion. To develop the feeling of belonging to the center in the VET students. Train teachers to improve education and digital competence. Raise awareness throughout the educational community about European values, such as sustainable development, environmental conservation and the fight against climate change.
