  • The Erasmus experience of this centre We possess extensive experience managing both School Education and VET mobilities: Over the past five years, more than 20 VET learners have successfully completed internships in Italy, Portugal, Finland, and Ireland. We have collaborated with educational centers from Portugal, so that learners make their internship in enterprises in our area. We have implemented school exchanges within KA229 programs. Our teaching staff regularly participates in job-shadowing mobilities, which have been instrumental in building a network of international partners. We are an experienced host institution, having welcomed visiting schools from Portugal and Germany for collaborative projects.

Organisation Description

The educational offer at IES María Sarmiento comprises Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO), Baccalaureate (both standard and adult education), and Vocational Training cycles in the following fields: Electricity (EQF 4 & 5), Administration and Management (EQF 3 to 5), Vehicle Maintenance (EQF 3 to 5), Maritime-Fisheries (EQF 4), and Welding and Boilermaking (EQF 4). Furthermore, we are ECHE (Erasmus Charter for Higher Education) holders, reflecting our strong commitment to international cooperation and mobility.
