Organisation Description

The IES Lauro Olmo is a public educational institution located in O Barco de Valdeorras (Ourense, Galicia) with a broad and well-established offer of Vocational Education and Training (VET) focused on employability and internationalisation. The school provides Basic VET programmes in Vehicle Maintenance and Hairdressing and Beauty; Intermediate VET programmes in Business Administration, Electrical and Automatic Installations, Vehicle Electromechanics, Auxiliary Nursing Care, Hairdressing and Hair Cosmetics, and Care for People in Situations of Dependency; and Higher VET programmes in Administration and Finance and in Viticulture and Oenology, the latter offered in a dual training modality. Through its Erasmus+ accreditation, the centre promotes the international mobility of VET students by facilitating traineeships in European companies and fostering the development of professional, linguistic and cultural competences in an international context.
