  • The Erasmus experience of this centre We have been pursuing internationalisation since 2008. We want to continue improving this network of partner institutions by establishing reciprocal relationships that allow us to carry out staff mobility and exchanges that result in an improvement in the quality of our teaching. We are committed to an ecological transition in our centre, involving the entire educational community through various innovation projects. Through the Erasmus+ project, we also see the need to adopt measures to reduce or offset the negative impact of travel. Our intention is to guarantee mobility for students by ensuring equal opportunities regardless of their socio-economic conditions. We hope to continue to achieve tangible results such as improving academic performance, employability, communication skills, professional skills, language skills and European spirit. The effort to improve internationalisation through mobility in Europe is an advantage for participants: primarily students and teachers, but also families and the rest of the educational community. We are also accredited with the ECHE charter.

Organisation Description

IES José Planes is a public secondary school and vocational training centre located in the Espinardo neighbourhood of Murcia. We are located in a district with a high density of technology companies, both small and multinational.

Our centre’s IT and communications department offers intermediate and advanced vocational training in IT and web application development. We also offer intermediate-level training in pharmacy. We are working to expand our training offerings and innovate by introducing artificial intelligence and its applications into vocational training.

We are open to cooperating with similar centres on joint projects, job shadowing, mobility programmes, etc.
