  • The Erasmus experience of this centre Since February 2024, the GIP-FCIP of the Limoges Academy has held Erasmus+ accreditations for: Education and Training (SCO) Vocational Education and Training (VET) Higher Education (ECHE) These accreditations cover the entire Nouvelle-Aquitaine academic region. They enable the development of European mobility for: learners teachers vocational training staff European Commitment: Youth, Sport, and Solidarity : The GIP-FCIP also holds Erasmus+ Youth and Sport accreditation under the European Solidarity Corps (ESC). As such, it supports volunteer missions that promote: youth engagement in solidarity initiatives the development of language skills the acquisition of professional skills intercultural openness Support for European and International Projects : The International Division supports educational institutions and training organizations in implementing their European and international projects. Organisation Description

The Public Interest Group “Continuing Education and Professional Integration” (GIP FCIP) of the Limoges Academy, established in 2002, is a partnership of indefinite duration between the French government, represented by the Rector of the Limoges Academy, the Greta du Limousin, the University of Limoges, and the CNAM.

The GIP-FCIP’s missions are to:

  • Coordinate mobility programs at the academic region of Nouvelle-Aquitaine
  • Develop and promote continuing education for adults.
  • Facilitate the professional integration of job seekers and those seeking career transitions.
  • Recognize and value skills acquired through experience.
  • Support individuals in their career planning.
  • Coordinate the region’s vocational training strategy.

 

The international division of the GIP-FCIP within the Limoges Academy supports the development of European and international cooperation in the fields of education and vocational training.

It actively contributes to enhancing the international outreach of educational institutions and training providers.

To this end, it facilitates:
– European mobility programs
– international partnerships
– cooperation projects with foreign organizations
