Organisation Description

The Gesundheit Nordhessen is a healthcare group with hospitals and other facilities. The largest hospital is Klinikum Kassel, which has more than 1,200 beds. In our Academy for Education, we are responsible for training over 350 nursing professionals as well as 40 surgical technical assistants. In Germany, nursing education is typically dual in nature, meaning it has a very large practical component (3,000 hours). The theoretical part (2,200 hours) takes place directly at our own nursing school.
