Organisation Description
As part of the Center for Vocational Schools in Sinsheim, the Friedrich Hecker School is the largest of the three schools, educating around 900 students with approximately 65 teachers under the authority of the Rhein-Neckar district. The school focuses primarily on dual vocational training in cooperation with regional craft and industrial companies, particularly in the fields of metal, automotive, process, construction, and wood technology. Modern workshops ensure a strong combination of theoretical and practical training. In addition, the school offers a one-year vocational school program that combines classroom instruction with weekly internships.
Another key pillar of the Friedrich Hecker School is its full-time educational programs, including pre-vocational training, vocational schools, technical colleges, and a technical high school, all leading to higher educational qualifications. Students can earn qualifications ranging from a lower secondary school certificate to the Abitur. For skilled professionals, the school also provides advanced training opportunities, such as becoming a state-certified construction technician or completing master craftsman courses. Located in the heart of the Kraichgau region, the Friedrich Hecker School actively supports young people in shaping their future and that of the region.
