Organisation Description

The Berufsschulzentrum Stockach is a vocational school in the South of Baden-Württemberg near the Lake of Constance. Our school has about 600 students and 51 teachers and was founded in 1967. Our head mistress is Saskia Metzler, supported by Matthias Schalk, Andreas, Maier and Stefanie Rau.

Nowadays digitalization is a big topic, therefore our school tries the best to keep up with it. The school has about 130 computers, 300 iPads for the students and wifi all around the building.

The school focuses on areas such as technology/trade, home economics and business and administration.

Our school is devided into different branches:

The Business High School leads to the general university entrance qualification. With the ,,Abitur“ you are very well prepared for both university and higher education.

After obtaining the general university entrance qualification, you can take up all possible courses at all German universities, colleges and universities of applied sciences.

This applies in particular to courses with economic content. Also you can do a vocational training.

Technical and Business Vocational College 1 includes the following areas:

Working with computers, on service technology topics and projects. You gain basic knowledge of business administration, marketing and customer-oriented product design.

Vocational College 2 builds on the Vocational College 1.

The main focus is on deepening the technical and business education as well as theoretical and practical knowledge in specialised areas.

This education prepares students for a technical or business course of study at a university.

Graduation from the Technical or Business Vocational College 2 entitles the holder to study at any university of applied sciences in Baden-Württemberg.

Also, we provide courses of lower education in home economics and business as well as courses for students with German as a second language or learning difficulties.
