  • The Erasmus experience of this centre International professional skills and professional mobility are highly valued in today's world of work. However, this step is not easy, especially for young people with disabilities or disadvantages. Mobility projects such as organised learning stays in other European countries help them to turn ‘mobility’ into a personal resource and expand their professional skills. In order to make the topics of mobility and Europe accessible to bbw trainees, a sustainable partnership was established between  an organisation in Vienna and Berufsbildungswerk Südhessen and a specialist network was set up at European level. The mobility project has been running since 2009 and began with proactive meetings and a lively exchange of expertise between trainers, educators and psychologists.

Organisation Description

Every young person with a disability, disadvantage, mental illness or on the autism spectrum is unique and not all of them have the same needs. That’s why we offer a wide range of customised programmes. With our specialised support options, we accompany young people with special needs on their path to professional and social participation.

We offer career guidance, vocational preparation and training in over 30 professions as well as assisted living and educational support. We also support our graduates in their transition to the labour market. As experts in vocational training, we also support companies in their search for staff and offer customised solutions for all aspects of in-company training.
