Organisation Description

Trainees have been trained at the chemical and industrial site Schkopau in building G4 for more than 80 years. This tradition is upheld by the Ausbildungsverbund Olefinpartner (training association Olefinpartner), in short AVO, since 1996. Since then, thousands of trainees have successfully completed their vocational education at our company.
More than 50 companies and 300 trainees, which are trained yearly in over 20 recognized trades, profit from the advantages of intercompany vocational training. Many enterprises of the industrial DOW ValuePark and other regions are supported by the AVO to impart vocational skills and competences to their trainees. A committed team of instructors offers young people a broad spectrum of opportunities, starting at career orientation, vocational education, and exam preparation up to the successful graduation as a skilled worker. The core areas of the training at the AVO are chemistry laboratory and process technology, metal and systems engineering as well as electrical engineering and mechatronics. Apprenticeships help to cover the demand of skilled workers, which our partners need to shape industrial progress and at the same time enable young people to have a promising start of their career.
Training at AVO follows the demands of the partners companies and is continuously developing further, to meet the ever-increasing demands of industrial vocational education, quality standards and additional qualification. Companies get support to master the social and technical innovations of the business world of tomorrow. AVO faces these challenges with perpetual ongoing development. AVOs newest addition to further improve the quality of the training is our new workshop with 16 stations for the practical electrical engineering training.
