Organisation Description

IES Las Lagunas is a public educational institution located in the coastal and tourist city of Torrevieja, in the Valencian Community, Spain. Specialised in Vocational Education and Training (VET), we offer Basic and Intermediate VET programmes, as well as professional certificates and blended learning options aimed at enhancing the employability of young people and adults. Our technical training provision is mainly structured around three high-demand vocational sectors: Healthcare, Electricity and Electronics, and Vehicle Transport and Maintenance.
Characterised by a multicultural environment and a strong commitment to inclusion and equal opportunities, we promote internationalisation to connect our students with the European working environment. We seek partnerships and host partners to organise practical work placement periods in companies and workplaces abroad, fostering work-based learning and the development of our students’ technical, linguistic, and transversal skills.
