  • The Erasmus experience of this centre BZPG participateBZPG participates in the ERASMUS+ funding program of the European Union. It all started in spring 2024: the first trainees set off for 30 days to France (Brest, Brittany) or Belgium (Eupen, Liège) to make new contacts, get to know other cultures – and at the same time gain international professional experience. Now we will send trainees to Austria, Venna, to get practical experiences in long time care or edery people.

Organisation Description

The Education Center for Nursing and Health (BZPG) is a modern educational institution of the Aachen City Region and a central provider of initial, advanced, and continuing education in the field of nursing and health professions. Currently, we cooperate with over 100 institutions – including nursing homes, hospitals, and outpatient care services – thereby offering practical and interconnected training in healthcare.

At BZPG, there are over 400 training places available in the one- and three-year nursing programs, as well as more than 250 training places in the following areas:
• Anesthesia Technical Assistance (ATA)
• Surgical Technical Assistance (OTA)
• Medical Technology for Radiology (MTR)
• Paramedic Training (NotSan)

In cooperation with the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences, we also offer the dual study program in nursing – an ideal combination of academic qualification and professional practice.

Our extensive range of advanced and continuing training for nurses and healthcare professionals includes specialized courses, advanced courses, and certifications – always tailored to current nursing science developments and professional policy requirements.
