  • The Erasmus experience of this centre The Gutenberg School has been self-accredited since 2023 and in its first year mainly organised courses for teachers. In the second year, the first group of Italian students attended the school and the first job shadowing experience took place at the Gutenberg School, as well as teachers from the school at Slovak and Spanish schools.

Organisation Description

The Gutenberg School is one of the oldest vocational schools in Germany. Originally founded as the Leipzig Book Trade Training Institute in 1853, it later added other book-related vocational fields: printers, bookbinders, and archive and library-related occupations. Today, the school offers training in occupations across the entire media spectrum: digital/print media designers, image/sound media designers, immersive media designers, and media business administrators.

Training is also provided for office management assistants.

The full-time Design College also offers training.
