Organisation Description

Our school – SECONDARY TECHNICAL AND HIGHER TECHNICAL SCHOOL PRIBRAM – is a large school with about 600 students at the age of 15-19 and about 80 employees (about 50 teachers). Students are provided with both general and specialized education.

Nowadays our school is a modern secondary school of polytechnic character focused on four fields of study:

  • ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING 
    • School Study Program: Computer Technologies 
    • School Study Program: Multimedia and Informatics 
  • INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY 
    • Information technology in industry 
  • MECHANICAL ENGINEERING 
    • School Study Program: Computer-aided Mechanical Engineering 
  • STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING 
    • School Study Program: Civil Engineering 
    • School Study Program: Civil Engineering and architecture 

Education in our school concentrates on preparing students to be creative, obtain skills and knowledge and use them in practice with the help of the latest technologies including the abilities to use information and communication technologies and acquire good language skills.

Graduates are prepared to work in technical professions, technology nad production, eventually in enterprise. The school prepares them for intermediate level technical positions (technicians, technologists etc.) and jobs which are useful and in need in our region. It also focuses on the preparation of students to be successful in passing entrance examinations to technical universities
