Organisation Description

Eduard-Stieler-Schule is one of three vocational schools in Fulda. There are about 700 full-time students and 800 part-time who are taking part in apprenticeship programmes in the hospitality and catering, health and social car, agriculture and hairstyling industry. Due to the nature of these programmes, it requires the school to have excellent relationships with outside agencies, companies, and industries. Close local and international links are important to our school.

The majority of the full-time students take part in either health, nutrition or biotechnology programmes which lead to the A-levels.

Every year, about 50 students who are at risk of social exclusion are taught in vocational preparation programmes, and about 30 students with disabilities are taught basic vocational skills.
